Taylor Dyess (69x) Taylor, from Pinedale, took 2nd place in the Junior Novice final on Sunday. The 3rd annual Heart 2 Heart SnoCross race was held in Bondurant over the weekend (Jan 20-21) on the Norris and Layne Brown ranch.

About sixty riders raced in more than 70 races over the two days. The race is sanctioned by Mountain West Racing bringing contestants from all over the west.

Both days were very cold with temperatures in the negative numbers. Saturday was partly cloudy, but Sunday was clear all day.

Taylor Dyess (69x) and Dillon Thomas (99x), from Pinedale, raced in Junior Novice. There were several racers from Jackson Hole: Junior Novice - Nikiya Adomaitis (333),
Pro - Liv Dalebout (28), Parker Brown (119), Tyler Tobin (35).

The Heart 2 Heart race was started 2 years ago when lack of snow cancelled several races and organizers were invited by the Browns to hold a race on their land in Bondurant across from the school. Because Bondurant can always be counted on for snow, the race is now in its third year and we all hope they keep coming back. There is less snow this year, but still a good two feet and plenty to hold the race.

The event was co-hosted by Jackson Hole Snow Devils and Pinedale Snow Explorers Snowmobile Club. The Pinedale Snow Explorers also provided concessions.
