Pinedale Natural Gas rate increase modification
Public hearing in Pinedale on March 21
February 9, 2007
The Wyoming Public Service Commission has put out a notice of a second amended application by Pinedale Natural Gas Inc (PNG) for authority to revise their overall rates. PNG wants an overall rate of return of 11.5 percent to reflect changes in the cost of providing natural gas service and increase revenues $93,000 per annum.
The proposed increase to the non gas rate would be approximately 12.6 percent (12.6%) for the residential and commercial class and approximately twenty percent (20%) for the large commercial class. The impact on individual bills may vary from the proposed increase in rates. The rates ultimately approved by the Commission on an individual customer class basis may be lower or greater than those being proposed by the company.
A public hearing has been set in this matter for Wednesday, March 21 in the Commissioner’s Room of the Sublette County Courthouse in Pinedale, 21 South Tyler, beginning at 9:00 am.
The second amended application, and all other filings associated with this docket, including the Office of Consumer Advocate’s intervention, are on file with the Commission at its offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and at Pinedale’s offices in Pinedale. The general rate filing may be inspected by any interested person during regular business hours.
Anyone seeking to file a statement, protest, intervention or request for hearing must do so, in writing, with the Commission, on or before February 28, 2007.
