(Laramie, Wyoming) - Prospective incoming freshmen and community college transfer students interested in attending the University of Wyoming this fall are urged to apply as soon as possible.
"Students really need to get started on the admissions process," says Noah Buckley, UW admissions director. "We want to remind prospective students and parents that now is the time to apply."
High school and community college students are encouraged to complete their applications for admission and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible, Buckley says.
"Key deadlines and processes related to campus housing, financial aid, scholarships and new student orientation are now underway," he adds. "Students can maximize their available options by getting admitted and applying for aid as soon as possible."
Students can apply at the UW Admissions web site at www.uwyo.edu/admissions. The FAFSA form is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. For more information, call the UW Admissions Office at 1-800-342-5996 or visit the web site at www.uwyo.edu.
