Pinedale Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday and the 50th Birthday of the book, Cat in the Hat. Schools across American were encouraged to celebrate reading today by reading Dr. Seuss books in their schools. Several members of the Pinedale community read Dr. Seuss books to different classes through out the day.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, was born March 2, 1904. He wrote more than 40 books before his death in 1991. 'Cat in the Hat' celebrates its 50th birthday today.
