Bondurant death ruled a homicide
Richard Dean Nystrom was from California

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has identified the man found dead on Rim Road near Bondurant on Tuesday, April 3rd, as 54-year old Richard Dean Nystrom. According to a SCSO press release, the man was a transient with a previous address in Ukia, California.
His death has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy conducted on Thursday determined that Nystrom died from blunt force trauma to the head and face.
The SCSO is asking anyone who may have seen Nystrom hitchhiking on U.S. Highway 191, south of Hoback Junction, between 6:00 PM and 11:30 PM on Tuesday to please contact their office at 307-367-4378.
Additional information will be released when it becomes available, said authorities.
