(Pinedale) - The Upper Green River Basin Local Sage Grouse Working Group will hold their next meeting Monday, April 23rd at the Pinedale Library starting at 10:00 AM. The group is in the process of finalizing its sage grouse conservation plan based on comments received.

The group, one of seven local working groups formed across Wyoming, is comprised of nine local citizens, representing groups interested in sage-grouse conservation. The role of the group, is to develop and set in motion local conservation plans to benefit sage grouse and, whenever feasible, other species that use sagebrush habitats.

The public is invited to attend the meeting and a public participation period will be scheduled.
