Update: 1:55 PM, Monday, April 30: Laura Fabrick, House Supervisor for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC), told Pinedale Online that the condition for Monte Olsen is now rated officially as “Serious”. He remains in the Intensive Care Unit at EIRMC. ‘Serious’ means that vital signs are unstable at this point and the patient’s condition is guarded. No further details about the extent of his injuries were released.

11:00 AM: State House District Representative Monte Olsen, from Daniel, Wyoming, was hospitalized on Saturday evening, April 28th. Details are still sketchy at this time.

Laura Fabrick, House Supervisor for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, confirmed this morning that Olsen is a patient at EIRMC. He is listed in Fair Condition in the Intensive Care Unit. His vital signs are stable and the outlook is good, she said.

Olsen has been a House Representative to the Wyoming legislature since 2003. He resides in Daniel, Wyoming.
