Mesa Deer Sign

Somebody is watching out for the Mesa deer, and posting their opinion onto Bureau of Land Management (BLM) signs, like this one along the East Green River Road. Many concerned citizens and wildlife biologists alike believe that the BLM has not adequately protected the Mesa wintering mule deer population from habitat disturbing gas field activities. The population not only faces lost habitat to the gas field, but reduced quality and quantity of forage from a severe drought.
