Softball Sign-Up

The 2007 Slow Pitch Softball League organizational meeting will be held at the Sublette County Library in Pinedale on Wednesday, April 25th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Teams will be organized, captains and umpires appointed, and a game schedule made.

“If you don’t have quite enough people, that is ok,” said organizer Kate Grimes. “There are numerous individuals that need a team.”

Teams will consist of a minimum of nine players, three of which are women (or men whichever is the minority), a captain, and an optional sponsor. Sponsorship involve paying the $5.00 per person fee for the entire team, and whatever else the sponsor is willing to pay for such has equipment, t-shirts, parties, and other perks. Players will need to provide their own mitt for the games.

“If you want to play, this is the meeting to attend!” said Grimes. Individuals and teams are welcomed.
