Governor Freudenthal conveys Virginia Governor’s request for Remembrance Ceremony

(Cheyenne) In remembrance of the victims of the recent shootings at Virginia Tech University, Virginia Governor Timothy Kaine has requested that other states join his state in ringing bells at noon, eastern daylight savings time, on Friday, April 20, 2007. In response to Kaine’s request, Gov. Dave Freudenthal encourages Wyoming citizens to pause and recognize those touched by the tragedy at 10 a.m. Mountain time on Friday.
Also to honor the victims of the deadly shootings in Virginia, flags around the nation will remain at half staff until Sunday at sunset.
