John Wayne Saddle The saddle is on display at the Cowboy Shop in Pinedale.

The Green River Valley Land Trust (GRVLT) is raffling a limited edition and numbered Circle Y saddle celebrating the 100th anniversary birthday of John Wayne. This beautiful saddle is valued at $10,000.

Raffle tickets may be bought for $100 each. Only 150 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased from a Green River Valley Land Trust Board or staff member, the Cowboy Shop (where the saddle in on display), Office Outlet in Pinedale and Big Piney, Bank of Sublette County in Pinedale and the Flat Creek Saddle Shop in Jackson.

Proceeds benefit the Murdocks’ Double Bar E Ranch Project.

The winning ticket will be drawn at the John Wayne Film Festival on Saturday, May 26th at the John Wayne birthday celebration at the Pinedale High School Auditorium. The raffle ticket gets free admission to the Film Festival.
