NRG Investments Inc and Gemini Energy issued a joint news release on Tuesday, May 22, announcing they have signed a term sheet for NRG Investments to take over Gemini Energy Corp. for an estimated $98.4 million. The term sheet contemplates that Gemini shareholders that are not U.S. persons will have the election of receiving either $4.00 cash or one common share of NRG for each Gemini share acquired. Americans can sell their Gemini Energy common stock for $4 per share.

Gemini Energy Corp. (TSX:GNI) is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. The company's business is focused on the exploration, development, and production of natural gas and natural gas liquids at its Pinedale Anticline natural gas properties in southwest Wyoming.
