A Statement from U.S. Senator Craig Thomas
“During a check up for my leukemia last week, blood work indicated to my doctors that I should pursue an additional chemotherapy treatment.”
“I’m resolved to do all I can to keep the leukemia in check. I’ve been feeling very good over the last several months -- even returning to my regular morning run. But I’ve always known that further treatments are common and could periodically be part of this thing.”
“Thanks to regular check-ups, doctors have been able to quickly determine my status, allowing me to begin treatment right away. In addition, Susan and I are constantly uplifted by the well wishes and offers of support from so many. We are very grateful for that.”
“During treatment I plan to continue working in the U.S. Senate and pursuing those key legislative priorities that will make a difference for Wyoming.”
