Caught One!

Kid’s Fishing Day was held on Saturday, June 2, at the CCC Ponds near Fremont Lake. The event was in conjunction with National Fishing Week and Wyoming Free Fishing Day. Kids 13 and under were invited along with their parents or an adult. The kids visited five learning stations. Lunch was provided at noon, then the children went fishing in the CCC Ponds. The fishing pond was freshly stocked and they fish were biting! Poles and worms were provided for anyone who needed it.

Kids’ Fishing Day is an annual event. This year it was sponsored by the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Trout Unlimited Green River Chapter and EnCana USA.
