The Sublette County District Attorney’s office has honored the prosecution’s motion to dismiss charges of Reckless Endangerment against the wife of Wyoming State Representative Monte Olsen, from Daniel. The charges were dismissed without prejudice by Circuit Court Judge Daniel L. Forgey on July 18th.

The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred in April which resulted in Olsen being run over by the sport utility vehicle driven by his wife, Lisa Glenn. Both Olsen and his wife stated the incident was an accident. Olsen suffered broken ribs and a broken jaw and was life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls where he spent a week and a half in intensive care.

Olsen continues to perform his legislative duties while recovering from his injuries. He represents constituents in Sublette and Teton Counties in Wyoming.
