BLM hosts live broadcast
On Preparation of Documents Relating to Oil and Gas Development
by Bureau of Land Management
August 22, 2007
The Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service are hosting an interactive satellite broadcast for those parties involved in preparing documents related to oil and gas development on Federal public lands.
The broadcast will be from 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Mountain Time, on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at BLM State and Field Offices.
The Bureau of Land Management, an agency of the Interior Department, and the Forest Service, an agency of the Agriculture Department, are hosting a live satellite broadcast to inform any and all interested parties about recent revisions to a set of regulations collectively known as Onshore Oil and Gas Order No. 1. Those responsible for preparing related documentation, such as Applications for Permits to Drill (APDs), will find the broadcast most useful; however, all members of the public are invited to attend. Information on new APD processing timelines, off-lease access, and geospatial databases – as well as information on how BLM and Forest Service rights-of-way work – will also be covered during the broadcast, which will include an interactive question-and-answer session.
In attendance from BLM Wyoming: Wyoming State Office Buffalo Field Office Casper Field Office Cody Field Office Kemmerer Field Office Lander Field Office Newcastle Field Office Pinedale Field Office Rawlins Field Office Rock Springs Field Office Worland Field Office
