An Energy and Climate summit will be held in Jackson Hole October 8-10th to discuss “Finding the Balance”. The summit will bring together high-level decision makers, experts in the field of energy and climate and other interested parties from across the U.S. and beyond to share information and find common ground on balancing energy needs with climate considerations.

The event will be at the Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village in Jackson Hole, and is being hosted by the Town of Jackson. Sponsors include the Ruckelshaus Institute and Haub School of Environmental and Natural Resources; the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute; The UW School of Energy Resources; the Stoock Forum on Wyoming’s lands and People; the UW Foundation and President’s Office.

Speakers include Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal, University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan, Jackson Mayor Mark Barron and Lord Ron Oxburgh, Former Chairman, Royal Dutch Shell PLC.
