Black bear hunters take note: Hunt areas 18, 20, 21, 22, 24 and 29 in the Jackson area closed Sept. 18.

These are the hunt areas surrounding Jackson Hole. Hunters should check the Black Bear Regulations for specific area boundaries.

The areas closed because the collective female mortality quota of nine sows was reached. The areas will reopen in the spring.
