Big Piney loses to Lyman
Big Piney 0, Lyman 21

Coach Eskelsen's Comments:
Our inability to score in the red zone absolutely ruined our day. Offensively, we moved the ball only to struggle as we got close to scoring. We had too many mental mistakes at crucial times. Lyman’s line strength and trapping game presented us problems all day.
Offensively, Nick Mackie caught 7 passes for 134 yards. Gary Phillips completed 12 of 25 passes for most of the 272 yards. The Punchers gave up the ball 4 times and teams can’t do that to be successful. Defensively, I thought we played well. Lyman’s ball control offense kept us on the field too much. Ben Howard and John Colton led in defensive points. Drew Guenthner and Taylor Moceika also played well picking up good numbers as well. The Punchers, 5-2, close their regular season at Greybull on Friday night. Barring any more upsets, the Punchers appear to be heading to Lovell for the first round of the playoffs.
