Fear negative impacts to wildlife, recreation and quality of life values October 20, 2007 Landowners in the Hoback Rim area of the Upper Green River Valley have organized to speak out against oil and gas drilling in the Upper Hoback between Pinedale and Jackson Hole. The informal group, Landowners of the Upper Green, is seeking public support to join them in opposing more leasing or drilling on the Bridger-Teton National Forest in order to protect wildlife migration corridors, watershed and recreation values in the Upper Green saying, “These values would be irrevocably damaged by gas and oil production!.” |
