Kids’ Christmas Shoppe seeks donations
Will be held December 12-16 at the Pinedale Library
October 20, 2007 | Updated December 3, 2007
The annual Kid’s Christmas Shoppe is seeking donations to allow youngsters to be able to give gifts for Christmas. The effort hopes to teach children that it is better to give than to receive.
Any child up to 5th grade will be able to shop for FREE at the library in Pinedale December 12-16 for each family member that lives in Pinedale. In order to do this, the Kids’ Christmas Shoppe relies on community members to donate any items (in good shape) that could be given to a child, mother, father, grandfather and grandmother. Suggested items (gently used) to donate include: scarves, caps, coffee mugs, hunting supplies, movies, candles, decorations, pictures, books, toys, games, jewelry, software, stationary. No clothes please.
For more information, or to pick up donations, call Corrina Simmons at 307-231-3218 (Editor's Note, story update: Phone number correction on 12/3/07). Everything is stored in a unit until shopping day at the library. More information about the Shoppe will be available soon.
