Please Slow Down on Hwy 351
“I just came back to town tonite across "The Jonah 500" hwy 351 and it is heartbreaking and frustrating. There were dead deer and signs of deer being hit all over the highway. It was about 6pm (shift change) and lots of vehicles were just flying around us and we were traveling the speed limit. There were several deer standing beside the road as these vehicles were speeding around and nobody even slowed down. The mesa shuts down for the deer in the winter maybe everything needs to. They are all here for the "big money" but they have no regard for anything around here. I say if they work year round that moving the camps out there is a good thing to keep a lot of traffic off the highway. It would save lives--theirs and the wildlife’s.
