In an article that appeared online today on Numismaster.com, a coin collector from New York was surprised when he opened his 2007 Wyoming State quarter proof set given to him by his in-laws on his birthday. When he slid the set out of the box, he discovered his set contained a misstruck 2007-S Wyoming state quarter. He contacted Numismatic News about his coin. Experts who evaluated the coin put estimates of from $1,500 to $5000 on it.
