by Bureau of Land Management
December 3, 2007
The BLM is currently seeking volunteers to serve a two-year term on the Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG).
The PAWG is an adaptive management advisory group that provides recommendations to the Bureau of Land Management on the monitoring and mitigation of natural gas development on the Pinedale Anticline. Nine members serve on the PAWG representing the environmental community, the adjacent landowners, livestock operators, the public, and local and state governments. Members are selected by and serve at the pleasure of the Secretary of the Interior and may be reappointed to additional terms.
Volunteers are currently being sought to represent the State of Wyoming, the public at large, and the adjacent landowners.
Additional information on the PAWG as well as forms to nominate individuals to serve on the PAWG can be found at http://www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/field_offices/Pinedale/pawg.html
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Caleb Hiner at the Pinedale Field Office at (307) 367-5352 or email him at caleb_hiner@blm.gov for more details on the application process.
