(Pinedale) - The Pinedale Game and Fish personnel will be making their move to a new office location on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 8 - 9, 2008. The new Game and Fish office will be located just two blocks east of the existing office at 432 W. Mill Street, in what was the old Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office.
Since the new office location is nearby, there will likely be Game and Fish personnel available at either location to provide assistance during the move, if necessary. However, if people are in need of 2008 licenses or application booklets, they are encouraged to get them at one of the other license vendors in Pinedale during that time. The Game and Fish plans to officially open the doors at their new location on Thursday, January 10, 2008.
The Game and Fish Department has been operating out of the same location for over 30 years and had outgrown the outdated facilities. The Department had been looking for a new office location in recent years with no success, but when the local BLM recently moved to a new office it created an opportunity to move into their old building.
”I don’t think anyone who had seen our working conditions in the old building would question our need for a new office,” said Pinedale Region Game Warden Coordinator, Scott Werbelow. “And the new location will be handy in that it’s close to our old building and facilities, which we will continue to use for equipment storage. We look forward to being in the new facility, which will better serve the public as well.”
