Find the satellite dish
The Bondurant Ranch webcam relies on a satellite signal to send the image out. The signal gets blocked when snow accumulates on the satellite dish, located just above the elk horns on the roof top at the Dell Fork Ranch. This photo is from an earlier year, but it gives you an dea of the technical challenges of keeping this webcam maintained and operational.

Pesky Moose
This is the pesky moose that keeps attacking the outdoor thermometer. “Maybe she will quit now that there is hay in the yard.”

What’s going on with the Bondurant webcam?
December 20, 2007
For those of you who are wondering what is happening with the Bondurant webcam since it has been showing a black picture for a couple of days and not updating, here is a note from Paul Ellwood, owner of the Dell Fork Ranch where the Bondo webcam is located.
“We are experiencing a few blackout days from the Bondurant Ranch cam as snow accumulates on the satellite dish located just above the elk horns on our roof top.”
Also, apparently they have a pesky moose that has been attacking the outdoor thermometer and knocking it down.
“The good news: Lenny Campbell has been able to save hay by beginning to feed from the sleigh later than usual," Paul said.
The Bondurant webcam will be back online as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!
