The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is preparing its end of the year accounting for wolf management in Wyoming in 2007, but here's a short summary:

Total number of confirmed livestock depredation in WY decreased >55% from 123 cattle and 38 sheep in 2006 down to 55 cattle and 16 sheep in 2007.

Cattle killed per county:
Park = 27
Sublette = 14
Fremont = 12
Lincoln = 2

Sheep killed per county:
Lincoln = 12
Johnson = 4

Total number of wolves removed in control actions in 2007 = 60 wolves killed.

Number of wolves killed in Sublette County control actions = 9 wolves.
