Land Use Policy Plan Updates Look for this icon on the front page of Pinedale Online for the link to the Land Use Policy update page.

As part of the process of developing a draft public lands policy for the Sublette County Commission, a webpage addressing the topic has been launched on Pinedale Online!

Check out www.pinedaleonline.com/landusepolicy/ for frequent updates on the policy development process, and to click on easy links to provide input.

The webpage currently contains an introduction to the process, public participation information, and an explanation of what will be included in the policy, as well as an explanation of what the policy is not. Also included on the webpage is a directory of related documents, including an article detailing "how we got here," along with how such a policy document made an impact in a Utah county.

Other documents on the page include both articles and copies of statutes that relate to management of lands administered by both Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service.
