Notice: Hoback Canyon closure Jan 28 for avalanche control
US 191 closed at 8AM at Cow-of-the-Woods
January 27, 2008

ATTENTION: Travelers of US 191, Hoback River Canyon, WY 22 and Teton Pass

US 191 in the Hoback River Canyon will be closed Monday, January 28, at 8:00 A.M. for avalanche control at Cow-of-the-Woods. Highway travelers are advised to plan accordingly.

Teton Pass will be closed Monday, January 28 at 3:00 A.M. for avalanche control. Snow slides reaching the highway may prolong the clousure and blizzard conditions may force the road to remain closed. The "No Overnight Parking" at the summit will be strictly enforced. Highway travelers are advised to plan accordingly.
