Questar has announced that its Overthrust Pipeline finished construction on December 15. The 77-mile pipeline was completed two weeks ahead of schedule. It extends from the Overthrust transmission at Kanda in Sweetwater County and connects to the Rockies Express pipeline near Wamsutter, following the I-80 corridor pipeline right-of-way.

The 713-mile Rockies Express pipeline, also known as REX-West, is a 42-inch diameter pipeline that takes product from Colorado to Missouri.

The Overthrust Pipeline project began construction last spring and cost more than $2 million.
