Replacing the bridge on Fremont Lake Road
January 27, 2008
Wyoming Department of Transportation is starting work to replace a wooden bridge at Lee Ditch on the Fremont Lake Road. The construction is at a very awkward location on the road, where it climbs the hill from Hwy 191 at the bend near the sledding hill. There will be minor delays as construction crews divert traffic around as they work to remove the existing timber bridge. At some point during the construction, there will be a temporary traffic signal installed to handle traffic along with occasional flaggers and other traffic control measures. “Hopefully, the contractor will have the old bridge out and the new box in by March 30," said Bob Maxam, WYDOT Resident Engineer in Pinedale.
