On Sunday, Scott Almdale and his nephew went snowmobiling up the Horse Creek trail to the Blind Bull Pass warming hut.
“I was moonstruck and breathless with all the scenic beauty I was beholding up there in the Wyoming Range Mountains,” he said.
“I was sad to see the virgin snow on the slopes being scarified by snowmobile tracks. But the place was so vast and huge that there were still many slopes untouched by the snowmobiles. The area was obviously a snowmobiling haven for those who liked to ride in the deep, deep snow. All in all, I was glad to be able to access to the magnificent high country in the Wyoming Range Mountains with a snowmobile during winter to witness scenic beauty and DEEP snow.”
The Blind Bull Summit SnoTel reported 75.3 inches of snow on Sunday.
