Snowbird Update: Hank & Debi Ruland
Snowbird Update: Hank & Debi Ruland
February 6, 2008
Some of our “Pinedaliens” head to warmer climes before winter sets in here in Wyoming and frolic in places that don’t require four layers of clothing to venture outside. They return when the snow melts and spring returns to the Upper Green. We always love to hear from them over the winter and find out what adventures they are having in their over-wintering lives.
Hank and Debi Ruland checked in Wednesday to say they have been following our Pinedale weather online. “Wow, what a winter. Super bowl Sunday in south Texas was 78 degrees f. with 99% humidity,” they said. They left Texas and are now in southern Arizona. Just before they left Texas, they visited the Aransas Wildlife Park near Fulton and got a picture of this Armadillo. “This one was so tame that you could almost pet it.” They said, “Stay warm!!”
