Climbing Moose Ridge Skate Skiers Skate skiers on Moose Ridge loop.

Spring has arrived on the calendar but don’t put away those skis. The Pinedale Area Nordic Ski Trails received more snow this past week, and we continue to groom the upper trail system as needed. By prior agreement with the USFS and BLM, we stopped grooming the CCC Pond trails on March 15, but the remaining 14 trail miles along Skyline Drive are still in top condition. Full snow-covered access to the trail system is available at White Pine Resort, Kelly Park and the Halfmoon Lake Overlook. This year’s current snowpack - along with an outlook for more storms this coming week - promises good Nordic skiing on our groomed trails well into April.
