27th Aniel Daniel Chili Cook Off

Saturday was the 27th Annual "Aniel Daniel" Chili Cook Off. The chili entries are judged on taste, smell, appearance and hot. In addition to the chili contest, there is a dessert auction. The money raised goes to the Daniel Community Center.

Scott Werbelow Scott writes down his scores after tasting the chili.	Steve James Steve helps with the dessert auction.	Loving that Chili Penni Jo and Jennifer Robelia enjoy a bowl of chili.
Red Chili Aprons Nan McKeoug, owner of the Talking T-Shirt in Daniel, donated the aprons.	Green Chili Aprons Aprons were awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in the Green and Red categories.	Cheryl Patterson Cheryl Patterson won 2nd place for her Red Chili. Shannon McCormick (not pictured) won 1st.
Full House The Daniel School House was standing room only.	Desserts Amanda Calhoun entered several cakes for the dessert auction. Her mallard duck cake was sold for $475 to Jim Bob Griffin.
