Gannett Peak

Dave Bell was shooting pictures a few days ago and begain looking at a distant mountain top, and it occurred to him it resembled Gannett Peak, the highest point in Wyoming. He sent the image to a friend, who also concurred after shooting an azimuth from the location (lon/lat) the picture was taken to the mountain on mapping software. “So, apparently, Gannett Peak is visible from my front porch! Something else to occupy me in my spare time! In the image, Gannett is the second peak (a distant mountain) from the left!” For more of Dave’s scenic photos of the area, click on this link: Dave Bell Photo Gallery
