Two proposed large hotels in Pinedale to be discussed April 7

A second large 3-story hotel proposal has been added to the agenda for consideration by the Town of Pinedale Planning & Zoning Board at their meeting on Monday, April 7th.
Pinedale Centerpoint, LLC, is requesting a Commercial Building Permit, for Phase I of a 12-unit Cabin Motel Project. The proposed 13’ x 24’ cabins would be located at the rear of the property. Phase II would be to construct a 27-unit modular 3-story hotel at the front of the property. This proposed hotel and cabin-motel complex would be on the Triangle property between Fremont Lake Road and Pine Street where the ZZZ’s property is located.
WHI-Pinedale, LLC, is also requesting a Commercial Building Permit for a 3-story, 67,463 square foot Hampton Inn & Suites which will be located directly west of the BLM building west of Pinedale. The proposed hotel would have 102 units.
Pinedale currently has four large hotels (Best Western, Lodge at Pinedale, Baymont Inn, High Country Suites).
Also on the agenda is a request for Preliminary Plat approval for the BloomField subdivision in Pinedale and a workshop to discuss the one-mile buffer, among other topics. Click here for a printable PDF of the latest Agenda
The meeting will be at 5:30 PM at the Pinedale Town Hall, 210 W Pine Street.

Editor’s Note: These proposed buildings would make the fourth and fifth large three-story hotels built in Pinedale for which the local fire department does not have a ladder truck with a boom high enough to reach the third floor to perform rescue operations for trapped guests or to adequately fight a fire on the upper floor.
