Fire weather concerns for Tuesday and Wednesday

The National Weather Service is forecasting a mixed bag of weather over the next several days which will include warm temperatures in the upper 60s, strong winds, heightened fire danger, then a switch back to winter Wednesday and Thursday with the possibility of a major spring snowstorm.
Hazardous Weather Outlook for Western and Central Wyoming:
Tuesday and Wednesday:
High pressure will build which will allow temperatures to warm into the mid to upper 60s for the western basins and the upper 50s for the mountain locations, and warmer in some areas. It will be mostly sunny and breezy during the day.
This system will also cause humidities to drop to very low values Tuesday afternoon. As the area of high pressure moves east this afternoon, winds will shift to the southwest and increase to 15 to 25 mph common over the forecast area. This combination of breezy winds, low humidities and warm temperatures will create fire weather concerns through the afternoon hours for the Upper Green River Basin and Fremont, Natrona and Sweetwater counties.
There is a slight chance (20%) of rain showers before midnight, which may turn to snow. Some thunder is possible. It will become partly cloudy with a low around 31 degrees. Ch
Wednesday through Monday:
A major spring snowstorm may develop over central and Eastern Wyoming Wednesday night and Thursday. The storm is expected to move into Northern Colorado Wednesday night and intensify on Thursday over Western Nebraska. This scenario demonstrates the potential for a combination of significant snowfall and wind to Eastern Sweetwater County, Fremont, Natrona and Johnson counties with the heaviest snowfall amounts over Natrona County. Stay tuned for frequent updates on this potential major spring snowstorm for portions of Central Wyoming Wednesday night and Thursday.
Day-time temperatures will be in the 30s and night-time temperatures will drop into the 20s with gusty winds Wednesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday are predicted to warm into the 40s and be mostly sunny. Then another round of snow showers and windy weather expected for the weekend through Monday.
