Wyoming Range Supporters host workshop April 22
In Lander
April 18, 2008
The organization ‘Sportsmen for the Wyoming Range’ will be presenting an interactive workshop geared for sportsmen and citizens concerned with recreation in the Wyoming Range.
The workshop entitled, "Exploring the Heart of the Wyoming Range," will be on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 5:30 PM in The Noble Hotel in Lander (288 Main Street). There will be refreshments and music in the lobby by local guitarists Jared Pangretic and Dan Dunn.
Trout Unlimited's Tom Reed will discuss hunting, fishing and recreation of the Wyoming Range, the threats facing it, and what can be done.
”Citizen comments will influence the Forest Service's pending decision on whether or not to open up the eastern flank of the range to oil and gas development. A workshop following Tom's presentation will give participants the tools to voice our own opinions on this important issue!” stated a release from the group.
