Bullying Hurts meeting May 6
Informational meeting in Pinedale
May 5, 2008
Marvin Nash, a rodeo clown from Cheyenne, started a program 20 years ago called 'Bullying Hurts'. Bullying Hurts, "a division of LRNCO, LLC, is a community service program that focuses on positive youth development and prevention of the anti-social behavior of bullying in schools and communities. Understanding the importance of role models, mentors and the idea that youth just naturally learn from their peers, the Bullying Hurts Program is presented to elementary grade children by more mature students who are members of high school youth groups in their local area." Marvin Nash will be in Pinedale on Tuesday, May 6th, for a short time. He has been invited to meet with parents in the Pinedale area to find out more about his program and how it can be arranged to have him work with the kids in Pinedale in the next few weeks. Mr. Nash will be meeting with Big Piney school officials also Tuesday morning before coming to Pinedale. Anyone interested in talking to him to learn more about his program and how to schedule a program here, is welcome to attend. The presentation will be at 11:00 am in the Upper Green meeting room at the Bureau of Land Management Pinedale Field Office. Questar has generously agreed to fund this program in Pinedale.
