The old saying of giving a gift that keeps on giving wasn’t coined with the hunting and fishing community in mind, but it is certainly appropriate when that gift involves a lifetime hunting and fishing license. Lifetime bird, small game and fishing licenses were established by the Wyoming legislature in 1996. The licenses are only available to Wyoming residents of ten years or more. The combination bird, small game and fishing license is $482.50. Individual lifetime licenses for game bird/small game or fishing are $302 each. The license continues to be valid if the holder moves out of Wyoming. Lifetime conservation stamps are $180.50 and are available to residents and nonresidents alike. Lifetime licenses and conservation stamps are only available from the Cheyenne Game and Fish Office. Interested persons can call (307) 777-4600 for more information.
