Sublette County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a man who reportedly robbed and assaulted a patron at Waterhole #3 in Marbleton Wednesday afternoon. Details are still sketchy. Sheriff’s investigators and deputies are currently interviewing people who were involved in the incident.

According to Sublette County Sheriff “Bardy” Bardin, the male suspect still had not been apprehended at the time of this report Wednesday evening. Deputies have a description and are actively looking for him.

The robbery involved a single victim who was allegedly hit in the forehead with a beer bottle or six-pack of beer.

Bardin said Waterhole #3 was not robbed and no gun was involved. He said there is no truth to the rumor that a hostage from Pinedale was involved.

Bardin said the Big Piney schools were put under lockdown for a time during the day while officers secured the premises in search of the suspect.

This case is still active and under investigation.
