National History Day was held in Washington DC June 15-21. Shelby Brown, Mary Jane Schmidt, Jenny and Janet Beiermann, Nancy and Baylee Colton, Jonita Sommers (Big Piney History Day Coach), and Katelyn Gonterman visited Vice-President Cheney at the White House

Big Piney High School students won the best senior division entry from Wyoming with their group performance, "Little Gray Ghosts" during National History Day at the University of Maryland.
