Still winter in the High Country
June 5, 2008

Hank Williams took these pictures of snow in the Wind River Mountains while on a day trip out of Elkhart Park on Saturday, May 31st.

“…Pretty snowy up there still...like it used to be in the good ol' days,” he said.

According to the latest reports, the trailhead is still snowed in, however vehicles can get up about as far as the scenic overlook on Skyline Drive now.
