Pinedale Fourth of July Town Picnic
Annual tradition for the Town

The Town of Pinedale hosted its annual Fourth of July Picnic in the American Legion Park Friday. The turnout was smaller than last year, but those who came faced a feast, fun and a fabulous afternoon in the sun with friends and family.

The food disappeared quickly! The Town provided hotdogs and burgers, while picnic-goers contributed their favorite side dishes and desserts. Ron Hanson, one of five cooks, estimates between 150 and 175 were served Friday afternoon.

TOP Picnic The Town of Pinedale hosted its annual Fourth of July Picnic at the American Legion Park Friday. Despite ominous gray clouds, many community members gathered on the grass to listen to music, munch and celebrate Independence Day.	Friday Night Lights What better way to celebrate the nation’s birthday than an all-American sport? The American Legion Park provided the perfect venue for dinner and games this Fourth of July.	Let's Go Fly a Kite There was no wind to speak of – perfect weather for a Town Picnic, but less than optimum for this kite flyer. Nevertheless, she ran many laps around the park in an effort to launch the kite, smiling all the way!
More Fun and Games While the children played with balls and kites, adults participated in a few casual games of horseshoes.
