Sublette County Veterans' Memorial

The new Sublette County Veterans' Memorial honoring all those that have served in our nation's military will be dedicated on Saturday July 26, 2008 at 10 am in Pinedale's American Legion Park.

A barbecue by the Pinedale Lions Club and sponsored by Fremont Peak VFW Post 4801 will follow at 11 am.

The Memorial was created by Bott Monument Company of Riverton, Wyoming and Ogden, Utah. It contains 68,000 pounds of granite from a quarry in China. The stone was shipped to Ogden for preparation and engraving. The bronze eagles on top of the monument’s central column were created by Raymond Gibby of Utah. This sculpture is number 6 in a limited edition of twenty.
