It’s summer in Wyoming-Get ready for Freezing temperatures!
National Weather Service issues Freeze Warning for Pinedale, Big Piney, Bondurant, LaBarge
August 22, 2008

It’s August 22 and the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for the Upper Green River Basin.

Low temperatures are expected to plunge to near freezing or from 29 to 32 degrees across the Upper Green River Basin from LaBarge and Farson northward up to Bondurant and into Jackson Hole. The Warning is in effect from around dawn to sunrise early Saturday morning (4:00 AM to 8:00 AM). Bondurant will have a low near 27 degrees.

A freeze warning means temperatures at or below freezing are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
