National Public Lands Day
September 14, 2008

In conjunction with National Public Lands Day, volunteers teamed up at the CCC Ponds Recreation Area near Fremont Lake on Saturday, September 13th. Crews cleared brush along trails, repaired signs and benches, monitored bluebird nest boxes and bat roost boxes, and installed a new interpretive panel at the information kiosk.

The event was organized and supported by the Town of Pinedale, Sublette County, Sublette County Conservation District, Wyoming Game and Fish, Sublette County School District #1, Sublette County Recreation Board, U.S. Forest Service (USFS), the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Bureau of Land Management and others.
