IPSSSDR-Big Piney/Marbleton Stage Stop seeks sponsors
Race runs from January 30-February 7, 2009

The committee for the Big Piney/Marbleton Stage Stop of the IPSSSDR is in the early stages of planning the 2009 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race. The event will be taking place January 30 through February 7, 2009. The Big Piney/Marbleton stage will be on February 3rd.
"We are again asking for sponsorship money to host the race in 2009," said organizers Bob Beiermann and Carie Whitman. "We are also looking for host families if anyone is interested."
The levels of sponsorship are:
Platinum Banquet & Banner Sponsor- $500
Gold Banner Sponsor-$200
Silver Banner Sponsor-$100
Bronze Sponsor-$75
Any level of sponsorship is greatly appreciated. The sled banners are placed on the Musher’s sleds during the local race. The banners are then given to the sponsors to hang in their establishments. All the sponsorship money stays local. The money is used to host the "Meet the Mushers" banquet that the entire community is invited to, pay the entry fee into the race and purchase IPSSSDR shirts and hats to be sold at the banquet.
The 2009 IPSSSDR begins in Jackson, Wyo., and ends in Park City, Utah. The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race was founded in 1996 by Frank Teasley to make sled dog racing more accessible to the public.
