Several Sublette County residents traveled to Craig, Colorado recently to share their feelings and experiences about energy development activity around Pinedale. Rita Donham, Jamie Burgess, and Pinedale Town Councilman David Smith spoke to a crowd of around 25 people concerned about energy development on federal land in their area. The Pinedale residents expressed their concerns over impacts to wildlife, air and water quality, use changes for ranchers who depend on grazing allotments on federal land, and the changes that come along with the rapid pace of development.
